Cosy Hall is situated close to the Town Centre of Newport, Shropshire. It is a delightful location next to the canal that used to link the Shropshire Union Canal with Shrewsbury.

Renovated, restored and enlarged, Cosy Hall is now Newport’s Community Building owned and managed by the community through a Charitable Trust and its Managing Trustees.

The hall is used by local residents of all ages for all sorts of activities from Pilates, to Bingo and can be hired for events and parties, bringing-together the community.

The Trustees thought it would be a wonderful idea to give a little something back to each person who contributes in their own way to the upkeep and use of the hall. They created a design of the building itself and had it printed onto a plain, neutral jute bag and gave them out to everyone who attended the recent anniversary party. The bags can now be seen far and wide around Shrewsbury and the locals are proud to carry and use them.
