Sometimes an idea just hits you. A funky design pops into your head and you realise people would fall over themselves to own a jute bag featuring your vision. But could you really design your own bag? And how do you turn it into a physical product?

A Barmouth retailer saw the potential of a high quality jute bag featuring the iconic Barmouth Bridge.

Barmouth Bridge, also known as Barmouth Viaduct, is a single-track wooden railway viaduct. It carries the Cambrian Coast Railway across the River Mawddach estuary on the coast of Cardigan Bay, Wales. With a public walkway running alongside, it is also popular with cyclists, walkers and tourists.

Looking to translate this vision into reality, the GoJute design team converted a photo into an eye-catching illustration of the Barmouth landmark.

The printed jute bags, featuring English on one side and Welsh on the other, make the perfect gift for visitors to take away with them. They provide a welcome reminder of the beautiful tourist hot spot and are great advertising for the retailer.
